We do our very best to manage our schedule carefully, so that patient wait times are negligible, and so that our dental care providers can fully dedicate their time to each patient's planned treatment.
Our staff reserve a specific time for your dental visit. Please try to arrive on time or a few minutes early, to ensure that you receive the comprehensive oral care that you require, without any significant wait time.
We kindly request 2 business days notice for any scheduling changes that you require. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient in need and/or accommodate anyone seeking urgent care. This courtesy allows the needs of all our patients to be best served.
We understand that unexpected events may cause a late arrival. If you do arrive late, we will attempt to accommodate your needs without disrupting our scheduled time with other patients. If the remaining time in your appointment does not allow us to complete your scheduled treatment in a timely manner, this will be considered a missed appointment. Please remember that communication with our clinic is critical to providing you with quality dental care and assisting us in remaining on schedule.
Missing an appointment means that someone else in need did not have an opportunity to receive our care. Each missed appointment will be flagged and when appropriate, we collect missed appointment fees. Patients that accumulate three missed appointments may be dismissed from the practice.
For your convenience, we accept Cash, Debit, Visa and MasterCard. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at our office. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings or concerns. We will electronically submit the insurance forms for your insurance reimbursement.
Your insurance plan is a contract between you and the insurance carrier/your employer. As such, you are responsible for your account, not the insurance carrier. We ask that you provide our front desk team with your policy numbers and coverage information, and inform us of any changes to your current dental insurance policy and personal information.
Where possible, we will assist you in optimizing the benefits available under your policy. As a courtesy to you, our office will submit your claims to your insurance carrier. We offer electronic submission (EDI) where possible to expedite the claim process. Most payments are processed in a few days rather than a few weeks. If you have a Secondary insurance policy, we will be happy to provide you with a standard dental claim form, or, when possible, the EDI from your Primary carrier for you to mail to your Secondary. Please note that due to the Privacy Act and phone wait times, it is becoming increasingly difficult for our Front Desk staff to speak with your Insurer directly. Your understanding and co-operation is appreciated.
When extensive treatment is planned, we will send a detailed estimate or pre-determination to the insurance carrier(s) involved. In most cases, the response is sent to the insured/employee within 2-3 weeks. Please note that for privacy reasons, the insurer must inform and communicate with you as its client – not with the dental office.
Our first priority is to your oral and general health. Treatment recommendations are based on your individual health needs, not based on your plan coverage.
Privacy of your personal information is an important part of our office providing you with quality dental care. We understand the importance of protecting your personal information. We are committed to collecting, using and disclosing your personal information responsibly. We also try to be as open and transparent as possible about the way we handle your personal information. It is important to us to provide this service to our patients. In this office, Dr. Moledina acts as the Privacy Information Officer.
All staff members who come in contact with your personal information are aware of the sensitive nature of the information that you have disclosed to us. They are all trained in the appropriate uses and protection of your information.
